These are my shoes for day 8, some little bronze ballet pumps. I had these in several colours (bulk buying is obviously a habit with me) but unfortunately some of them succumbed to my obsessive wearing and disintegrated. I think these are on their way out too, sadly. They are such a lovely colour though, and subtly shiny rather than full on sparkly, which is nice sometimes (several people will be unable to believe I just said that).
This was my outfit today, a purple long sleeved top and a wonderful skirt with a watercolour style print. This skirt was a triumph of bargain hunting, £1 in the Primark sale section! I think it has already become one of my favourites. It is very soft too, so good all round!
I also wore earrings, which is unusual. I make a lot of jewellery but rarely wear it, despite having a massive collection of homemade and bought costume jewellery.
These ones are made with amethysts a friend brought back from India, and purple glass beads. I don't have my ears pierced so I use extremely old fashioned screw on earring backs. The only problem is that with big earrings like these, they have a habit of falling off!
Outfit details: top-hand me down from mum, skirt-Primark, tights-Tesco, shoes-Primark, earrings-made by me.
